The Akhal-Teke is one of the most ancient breeds in the world. They are a rare breed with their roots at the very beginning of horsemanship and are highly versatile partners in modern sports.
The principal goals and purpose of the ATAA are to establish, maintain, and operate a nonprofit Association to perpetuate and promote the Akhal-Teke horse, and to provide educational activities regarding the Akhal-Teke in North America.
