We’re celebrating a NEW LOOK!! Welcome to the long-awaited launch of our new Akhal-Teke Association of America website, following the release of our new online registry.
Our new site is responsive for web and mobile viewing and incorporates dynamic search to make finding information much easier. We have an improved shopping cart and checkout commerce system so you can pay for services, make donations, or provide event sponsorships all in your browser. Previous posts and articles are being gradually migrated into the a new archives section, and our entire original site will be available for viewing as a legacy site.
Meanwhile, the new ATAA online registry will be the face of our pedigree database. It includes optimized, advanced algorithm searches, horses/profile management tools, favorites system, change requests system, 5-gen tables/10-gen graphs, a sales/lease system, ability to share competition records plus accomplishments, and much more to come!
We would like to extend our gratitude to our Website and Database Designer and Committee Chair, Yorke McGillivray (pictured here with her stud colt Kerkav, Gallo x MV Fergazel), and our Software Designer Matthew Harris for all the web-development work to make this possible. We also want to give special thanks to our Website and Database Committee members Katrina Ardiel and Betsy Wandler, as well as to the rest of the ATAA Web Task Force volunteer crew who have hugely supported this project: Jas Shearer, Dean Miller, Cathy Leddy, and Tish Saare. Also thank you to Pat Johnson for continuing to provide a wealth of ideas and feedback.
