We’re continuing our movement forward, good work everyone!
This past week we started working on:
Registration Amnesty – $35 per horse, passed by majority vote.
We hope to get many more horses registered with the idea of publishing another issue of the Registry (North American Stud) Book later this year.
Discussing Treasury issues – will have some decisions within the next few days.
Discussing Awards – we’re working on a co-sponsorship with Shannon Mayfield of the Fotata awards, which she has done a fantastic job with the last few years. We are also working on awards with the big associations, such as USDF, USCTA, AERC and whatever else is out there. We’ll post more information as it comes.
Amrita continues to add content to the ATAA website and it is getting lots of compliments. Good job, Amrita!
First renewal packets have gone out, with a 2012 Rules and Regulation/Bylaws booklet, a welcome letter and a sticker (thanks to Terri’s generosity). I will continue to send out renewal packets and new member packets as those come in.
We have a bunch more ideas and projects coming up, but until there is a little more info, I won’t post anything. But, keep up the excellent work and remember that this is for our fantastic horses!
