This is the Akhal Teke Association of America’ very first Virtual Show series, with 3 shows inviting the top horses back to compete in a championship ( May, July, September) and inviting the top horses to return to compete in a championship in October. We are reaching out to businesses and individuals for sponsorships including money and prizes.  In return, we are offering exclusive advertising opportunities through our website and Facebook pages over the next year. 

The Akhal Teke Association of America is made up of a worldwide membership dedicated to the Akhal Teke horse. These horses, which continue to gain owners and stewards, are one of the oldest breeds of sport horses, with many modern warmbloods, and thoroughbreds having Akhal Tekes in their lineage.  Today Akhal Tekes successfully compete against other breeds in every facet of equine sport, from endurance, to jumping, to Eventing,  Dressage and Working Equitation. With our small but increasing number of horses in North America and the distances involved, owners and competitors  are too spread out to have many breed shows in person, so we hope this show series will help fill that gap and bring the Akhal Teke community  closer together and raise awareness of our favorite breed.
